Manufactured from high quality inert 3.3 borosilicate glass, Karter Scientific Class A Volumetric Flasks meet the tolerances requirements established by ASTM E-694, ASTM E-542, and ASTM E-288. These volumetric flasks feature a flat bottom for improved lab convenience, a broad selection, and precise volume measurement. The accuracy limits adhere to the ISO 1042 Laboratory Glassware-One mark volumetric flasks standard, with one permanent circular mark. The flasks are printed with fused-on enamel color that is resistant to most acid and alkaline solutions. Calibration is based on the poured in volume ("In") at a +20°C reference temperature. The dimensions of the flask are 81mm in outer diameter and 225mm in height, with a tolerance of +/- 0.15ml. The flask also comes with a ground glass stopper for secure sealing.
